Papua New Guinea Coffee

(2 customer reviews)

Price range: £3.12 through £24.96

This coffee is produced by traditional methods, its chocolate & nut flavour has a distinctive fruity aftertaste.

Papua New Guinea coffee is primarily a high-quality washed Arabica, grown under shade in rich volcanic soil across mountainous regions at elevations between 1,200–2,000 m—mainly in the Western Highlands, Eastern Highlands, Simbu, Morobe, and Jiwaka provinces.

Papua New Guinea coffee offers a distinct balance of fruit-forward brightness, earthy depth, and clean, refined sweetness—reflections of its volcanic landscapes, shaded highlands, and traditional grower practices. While inconsistencies remain due to limited processing infrastructure, many specialty microlots now reach 85+ cupping scores and showcase PNG’s potential as a rising origin in the specialty world.
