Nueva Granada is situated between the volcanoes Tajumulco and Tacana. Its social programme has provided a clinic, a primary school and adult education also free spring water to neighbouring settlements. It meets Rainforest Alliance guidelines for sustainable agriculture. Rainforest Alliance Certification certifies that the coffee is grown using specific principles to attain social and agricultural sustainability.
