This coffee derives from the traditional process, used to enhance the flavour of roasted acorns during the second world war. Branded in liquid form as camp coffee, some people enjoy this acquired taste.

I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my brother. I don’t know if he has tried it yet but it smelt good when it arrived. Great service from the website and timely delivery.
Jon Sewell –
I originally bought this as the French coffee blend my supermarket sold changed its ingredients. I like the chicory flavour.

Been looking high and low for a coffee/chicory blend in the UK. Used to get it in New Orleans. This blend is good but the coffee’s too mild for us. We prefer a nice French roast with chicory. So we bought a French roast at Waitrose and mixed it in 50-50 with yours, and now it’s perfect! Will definitely buy more from you.

Great taste, really enjoyed it. Only smallest pack bought to test it out but will buy more today. Surprised pack had no weight or use by date though otherwise score would be 10

OK. Not ideal for cafetires. Lacking in dept of flavour. Will look for higher roast.

The coffee taste is not bad. Although, there isn’t much info in regard to the percentage of coffee and chicory. I’d appreciate more details on the packaging.
