Monsoon Malabar is India’s most iconic coffee, known for its distinctive flavour, mellow profile, and unusual processing. Grown on the Malabar Coast of Karnataka and Kerala, these Arabica beans undergo a special “monsooning” process, where they’re exposed to moist monsoon winds for several weeks. This aging technique swells the beans and gives them a pale golden colour — along with a flavour profile found nowhere else in the world.
In the cup, expect a full, smooth body with very low acidity, and tasting notes of earthy spice, wood, tobacco, and dark cocoa. It’s rich, mellow, and slightly wild — ideal for those who enjoy bold coffee without sharpness.
Perfect for espresso, moka pot, or milk-based drinks like lattes and flat whites.
