How does speciality coffee differ from other coffees?
Speciality coffee must have fewer than five Secondary defects and no Primary defects. A cup of coffee is made by roasting it, brewing it with hot water, and grading it on its acidity, body, flavour, and aroma, depending on the taster’s skill.
How do Specialty coffees differ from regular coffees?
A commercial coffee brand is typically advertised under national brand names and roasted and packaged in large plants. Traditional methods and technology are usually used to roast speciality coffee, often sold near its roasting place.
