The Peruvian-based Cafe Femenino Project is a social program for women coffee producers in rural communities across the world. Enabling female coffee producers to achieve the development of social and support networks, the project also allows them to earn a fair income through harvesting and producing their own high-quality organic coffee.

On the north west Andes, Cepicafe is the only cooperative on this side of the mountains. As well as coffee growing technology the cooperative provides finance, training and direct exportation. They also export jams to the French market as well as organic and fairtrade sugar. Peru is a lighter coffee in texture than other Central Amercan coffees but has lovely lasting flavour.
