Grown high in Rwanda’s lush hills by the women-led Abateraninkunga ba Sholi cooperative, this exceptional coffee offers more than just a brilliant cup — it tells a story of empowerment, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
Cultivated at altitudes of 1,800–2,000 metres, this fully washed Red Bourbon varietal delivers a vibrant and refined flavour profile. Expect bright citrus notes — think orange and grapefruit — layered with delicate florals, honey sweetness, and a black tea finish. Light-bodied and clean, it’s a standout for filter methods like V60, Chemex, or Aeropress.
But the flavour is just the beginning. Founded by a group of women farmers, the Sholi co-op is Fairtrade and organically certified, reinvesting its premiums into vital community projects like health centres, clean water, and education.
